Converting your movie to web video is pretty simple, once you know how-to. You can use Quicktime Player Pro, Adobe Premiere, etc. to convert your file. This tutorial will be explained with Quicktime Player Pro.

1. Start the application Quicktime Player Pro, and open your video file you want to convert (File -> Open Movie in New Player...).

2. Go to File again, high-light Export...



3. Select Export as Movie to QuickTime Movie, and select Use as Default Settings. Then name your file as whatever.mov, but keep the name simple - no space between letters.



4. Press Options... then you will see the window below. Press Settings in Vedio Section



5. Select Compressor as Sorenson Video, Color, Quality Best, Frames Per second as 29.97 for NTSC and 25 for PAL. Leave key frame uncheck, and Limit Data rate to 100 KBytes/sec. Press OK.



6. You will return to Movie Settings window again (Image 4)

7. Press Size... in Video Section. Click Use custom size, and type width 240 and height 180. Click OK



8. You will return to Movie Settings window again (Image 4). Now, time for Sound settings. Press Settings in Sound section.

9. Select Compressor as QDesign Music 2, Rate 44.100Khz, Size 16 bit, Stereo. Click OK.

10. You will return to Movie Settings window again. Check Prepare for Internet Streaming button and select Fast Start. Click OK.



11. Select desired folder to save, and click Save. Converting will take a little bit of time.



12. After converting is done, open your converted movie again, and save as 'Make movie self-contained.' Upload the movie file saved as 'Make movie self-contained.'
